Sawyer’s Flooring is built on 50 years of experience and two generations of serving homeowners.
The story began in 1979 when Glenn Sawyer entered the trade. He founded Sawyer’s Flooring in 1985 on honest guidance, fair pricing, personal service, and quality installation.
In 2001 it became Hunter’s Flooring, expanding into retail partnerships. Over two decades it grew across five states, serviced 42 stores, completed thousands of installs yearly, and became Lowe’s #1 flooring provider in 2025.
In 2026, Hunter Sawyer relaunched Sawyer’s Flooring to bring the business full circle—returning to direct homeowner service with decades of experience behind it.
Today we help homeowners avoid issues in larger systems like communication gaps, limited guidance, scheduling delays, and lack of accountability. Every project is built on honest advice, fair pricing, clear communication, quality installation, and family-focused service.
This chapter brings it full circle—back to working directly with homeowners, strengthened by nearly five decades of experience.
